Tennis and golf are a given when it comes to outdoor activities at Shadow Mountain Resort, a Palm Springs area tennis club. But guest also can enjoy a friendly pick-up game of basketball, volleyball or ping pong. Want to cruise around on two wheels? The resort offers hourly and daily bicycle rentals.

While Shadow Mountain's historic figure-eight pool and adjacent jacuzzi is the main outdoor attraction, additional smaller pools and hot tubs are located throughout the resort for those staying on property in the spacious condos or villas.

Pool supplies, sun screen and sunglasses are available for purchase at the tennis pro shop.

With all the fun outdoor activities, hunger is sure to strike. No need to leave the property to satisfy that craving for a sandwich, smoothie or snack. Enjoy the Top of the Courts Cafe & Bar or the Corner Bar and Grill located poolside. For those who prefer to enjoy a self-cooked meal with family and friends, the patio and barbeque area can be reserved for a nominal fee.
